Hello there!

I'm Naomi, a Mexican-Japanese-American designer, and illustrator in the Los Angeles area. Born in Covina but raised in Walnut and Pasadena, I enjoy the different environments. My passion reflects emotion, meaning, and history through culture, music, dance, and surfing. I need to tell stories through people's experiences and my own. Every person has a story to tell my goal is to give people an opportunity to share through my designs. I work traditionally, but I enjoy combining it with digital techniques. Whenever I'm not drawing, I'll catch a few waves at Bolsa Chica, run a few miles, bike ride, go hiking, or turn the volume up to some funky music and dance like no one's watching.
