NEVER AGAIN 9066 MURAL ON RAYMOND AVE
Continuing the project as a team, each team member created one image that connected to their project focus and the team’s in a cohesive design. I wanted to continue with Art Shibayama’s quote, “ We were brought here by the government so how can that be illegal?”

ART SHIBAYAMA
A zine that tells the story of Art Shibayama. A Japanese-Latin American who was placed in internment camps in the United States. Coming into the States, Shibayama was forced to stay in Crystal City, Texas, as an “illegal alien.” Without knowing any Japanese or hardly any English, it was a challenge to communicate with those he was around in the camps.
